Senior midfielder Josh Dye of the University of New Mexico men’s soccer team was named First Team Academic All-America by CoSIDA the organization announced Tuesday. Dye, who was a CoSIDA Second Team Academic All-American last year, will graduate this December with a 4.07 GPA in electrical engineering.
“What a well deserved honor,” UNM head coach Jeremy Fishbein said. “Josh’s commitment to excellence on the field and in the classroom is pretty humbling actually. His last two seasons have been tremendous. He’s played virtually every minute, and he hasn’t missed a beat in the classroom.
