The UNM Lobos had weekend visitors the past two weeks.
And Richard Pitino’s squad now has two Class of 2022 players committed to join the Lobos next year.
Monday night, 6-foot-6 wing Quinton Webb of Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and a member of the highly successful Compton Magic club basketball program, announced via social media he was “100 percent committed” to the program.
Webb made his announcement after a weekend recruiting visit that included Compton Magic founder and CEO Etop Udo-Ema. It comes one week after UNM got a commitment from fellow 6-6 prep senior Braden Appelhans, a 3-point specialist from Kansas City who is playing his senior season with a prep school in Ohio.
