COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- Freshman Napat "Jenny" Lertsadwattana of The University of New Mexico women's golf team has been named Mountain West Freshman of the Year for her exceptional performance throughout her freshman campaign, the league announced Monday. Lertsadwattana was also named to the 2019-20 Mountain West Second Team for her efforts.

Lertsadwattana, UNM's first MW Freshman of the Year honoree since former Lobo Jodi Ewart earned the award in 2006-07, led the Lobos with 74.05 strokes per round and was the highest-ranked freshman golfer in the Mountain West.
