RENO, Nev. — Morris Udeze’s 10th rebound turned into a costly one Monday night in Reno.
In a tie game with 14 seconds remaining in the second overtime in the Lawlor Events Center, two Nevada Wolf Pack players collapsed around the Lobos big man, trying desperately to fight the ball away from him.
There was plenty of contact, but none was called until Udeze’s left arm extended and made contact with Daniel Foster’s face, leading to a video review and a flagrant foul being called.
Foster made one of two technical foul shots followed by Nevada’s Will Baker sinking two more for a 97-94 Nevada win in double overtime.
