In the end, Jim Miller said, there were two things that drew his son Kameron to the University of New Mexico football program.
The first was UNM’s medical program.
The second he understood a little more.
“I think he wants to get out of Las Cruces,” said Miller, the head football coach at Las Cruces High School and a former New Mexico State quarterback. “He doesn’t want to follow my footsteps. He wants to get out on his own and make his own legacy.”
Kameron Miller, the Bulldawgs’ senior quarterback, on Saturday made a verbal commitment to the Lobos.
