ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Aaron Herrera, fresh off a solid 2015 freshman campaign for the University of New Mexico men's soccer team, has been called up to the U.S. U-20 National Team Camp in Miami. Herrera is one of just 36 players invited to the camp, and this group of players will eventually try and qualify for the 2017 U-20 World Cup, which will be held in South Korea.
The squad will split on Jan. 8 to play matches against CASA, a local all-star team, and Weston FC of the NPSL. The U-20 team will also play games on Jan.
