ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Fresno State was able to handle UNM's offense, and several drives that started in great field position paved the way for the Bulldogs to win their seventh straight game against New Mexico, taking a 38-7 decision over the Lobos. The loss dropped UNM to 1-2 in the Mountain West and 3-4 overall while Fresno State stayed undefeated in league play at 3-0 and 6-1 overall, earning bowl eligibility for the second straight year.
