Former Lobo Now Staff with NFL Team

He still wears red… just a different shade.

Brent Salazar, a former University of New Mexico men's tennis player, is currently working as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL. Salazar played alongside current UNM tennis coach, Bart Scott. Salazar won a MWC championship in 2003 and earned a trip to the NCAA Doubles Championship with partner Ryan Stotland during his time at UNM.

After earning a degree in Exercise Physiology from UNM, Salazar was a strength and conditioning intern for UNM in 2003. He then moved to Denver to help out with the Denver Broncos and then he went to UNLV.
