ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Interview with UNM beach volleyball player Maddie Mayfield
The 2013 La Cueva graduate was born in Dallas and is well-traveled. Her father, Matt, works for the Drug Enforcement Agency and her mother, Lisa, is an accountant. Maddie and freshman Carson Heilborn, are 9-4 in two-player beach volleyball. Maddie also played indoor volleyball her first two years at UNM, but just sand this season. She said she will likely play both next season.
