COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of New Mexico men's basketball players Elijah Brown and Tim Williams have each been honored by the league coaches in the 2016 All-Mountain West Conference selections, announced Tuesday. Brown was named 2015-16 MW Newcomer of the Year and to the All-MW First Team, while Williams was named to the All-MW Second Team.
Brown is the Lobos' fourth Newcomer of the Year honoree and third since New Mexico joined the Mountain West. In his first season with the Lobos, Brown has led New Mexico in scoring with 21.
