Breaking: UNM women win cross country national championship

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico women’s cross country team won the NCAA championship in dominating fashion on Saturday.

The Lobos scored 49 points, 80 better than runner up Colorado. It is the second NCAA team title in school history to go with the ski team’s 2004 title.
