New Mexico took sole possession of first place in the Mountain West during Friday night’s 2-1 victory. However, that doesn’t mean much as Fresno State will remain in town for the weekend with the intent to surpass UNM.
For Friday night and Saturday morning, the Lobos will be able to enjoy first place due to the beauty of a game that Carson Schneider threw.
