ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- There might have been a football practice going on, but there was plenty of action all around the Tow Diehm Football Complex on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday the Albuquerque Police Department and Lobo Football teamed up for APD/Lobo Football Youth Day for children from fifth to eighth grade. Safe to say today's first time event will become an annual affair.
It was sensory for certain. The day started off with a tour of UNM's facilities, including some time in the Lobo Football weight room, where the kids learned how to do Lobo Jacks and had a push-up contest.
