Playing his first season with the Devils, Drew Stafford stepped right into the lineup and had a productive start to 2017-18, where he had three goals and one assist over his first four games to make him a fixture in the top six.
It wouldn't last, with a couple injuries and lack of production slowing him down. After finishing with 15 points in 59 games, Stafford was invited back to Devils training camp this season on a professional tryout.
Stafford fought to earn his spot last preseason, and he plans on doing so again with a fresh mindset.
