Pavel Zacha woke up from a dream where he was demoted to the AHL. When he then realized where he was, he remembered that was also his reality.
Zacha's reassignment to the Binghamton Devils in the AHL on Nov. 2 came as a surprise to the third-year center. Even after going without a point in his first 10 NHL games of 2018-19, getting sent down for the first time in his professional career caught Zacha off guard.
The first day or two after getting the news was tough. Fortunately for the Devils center, he didn't have much time to think, since he jumped into a game on that second day, and he also got a boost from his NHL teammates.
