What Devils' Jordin Tootoo and New York Islanders' Johnny Boychuk did after the game

NEWARK — When New York Islanders' defenseman Johnny Boychuk left the ice and headed to the dressing room after crashing into the end boards Friday night at Prudential Center, he held his right arm and then smashed his stick.

Was it anger towards Jordin Tootoo for shoving him into the end boards during the second period, resulting a 5:00 cross-checking major and game misconduct penalty for the Devils' winger? Or was Boychuk badly hurt?

Maybe neither. Boychuk returned to play the third period and said he had a stinger. After the game, he and Tootoo were seen talking in the hallway outside the dressing rooms.
