The 2016-17 season is officially over after the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Nashville Predators in the Stanley Cup Finals, and now the busiest stretch of the NHL offseason begins.
To start the busy slate, teams are making their final preparations for the NHL Expansion Draft, where the Las Vegas Golden Knights will select one player from each of the other 30 NHL teams to compose their roster before the rest of the league turns its attention to the Entry Draft and free agency.
There are plenty of rules for Las Vegas and the rest of the NHL for the Expansion Draft, which will be on June 21.
