NEWARK - Scott Savage scored a pair of goals during the second period, leading the offensive effort for the Red Team in a 4-3 loss to the White Team at the Devils development camp scrimmage on Saturday.
Both of his goals came in a period where the team's combined for six scores. Savage's first goal tied the game at 2-2 with just under 10 minutes to play.
Nate Bastian scored two goals to fuel a second-period rally for the White Team in a 4-3 win over Red at the Devils development camp scrimmage.
