A loser Pittsburgh Penguins fan was put in his place Thursday night after stealing a souvenir game puck from a little boy during a Penguins-Buffalo Sabres game in Pittsburgh.
The culprit was booed by a sellout crowd at Consol Energy Center, then called out on television a couple of times by Penguins broadcasters Paul Steigerwald and Bob Errey.
Here's what happened:
During the first period of the Penguins' 4-3 victory, a puck flew into the Buffalo bench and was retrieved by Sabres coach Dan Bylsma, who turned around and flipped it over the glass to a boy maybe 5-6 years old who was standing there in the aisle with his arms out to catch it.
