It's safe to say the Devils didn't draft Nathan Bastian for his hugging ability.
The Devils second-round pick, who went 41st overall on Saturday at the NHL Draft in Buffalo, was in attendance and rose to celebrate when he heard his name called at the First Niagara Center.
When he went to hug his brother, it was clear the two weren't on the same page, and what ensured could go down as one of the world's worst hugs.
For what it's worth, the strange exchange came seconds after Bastian delivered a clean hug, and he quickly bounced back to continue celebrating.
