LAS VEGAS -- Outside of a couple of midseason acquisitions, the Devils' players are all experiencing a road trip unlike any other they've seen.
The "Vegas Flu" has been a common theme for teams across the NHL playing road games in Las Vegas during the Golden Knights' inaugural season. The Golden Knights are 24-7-2 at T-Mobile Arena, and the expansion team has more home wins than every team except the Pittsburgh Penguins, Tampa Bay Lightning and Boston Bruins. The Bruins and Penguins both have two more home games played.
Traveling to Las Vegas for a game in a city that, truly, doesn't sleep, was new for every NHL player this season, and the Devils will be the 29th of 30 NHL teams to visit the Golden Knights this season.
