On Monday, New Jersey will place G Cory Schneider (Grade 1 MCL Sprain - right knee) on Injured Reserve, retroactive to March 4.
Schneider will be assigned to Albany (AHL) on a conditioning assignment and will practice with the A-Devils on Monday. He will return to New Jersey for Tuesday's practice. The Devils host Boston at Prudential Center on Tuesday night.
