On Wednesday, UFC fighters CM Punk (a well-known Blackhawks fan), Corey Anderson, Chris Wade, Jessica Eye and Forrest Griffin along with UFC’s manager of athlete development, Chris Provino came out to the Prudential Center in Newark to train with the New Jersey Devils and their trainers.
The fighters got their own lockers in the Devils locker room, customized jerseys and got to watch the Devils during their morning skate.
They were joined by the Jersey Devil himself, NJ. Jessica Eye practiced some kicks on the mascot. If you’ve ever seen NJ lift up his jersey, he’s ripped. He’s equipped with a killer six pack, so I’m pretty sure he could take on some of these guys if he really wanted to.
