NEWARK — The only NHL team in New Jersey and the (soon to be) largest healthcare provider in the state are now joined together.
The New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center announced after a press conference Wednesday afternoon the team's new "official health care partner" is Barnabas Health. As such, the Prudential Center's practice facility was renamed the "Barnabas Health Hockey House" and the two entities will work together to provide new programming to residents who use the facility.
"This partnership will allow both of our organizations to leverage resources to reach the youth of New Jersey and families throughout the state," Barnabas President and CEO Barry Ostrowsky said in a statement.
