The Devils’ summer of depth signings continues as they announced another deal for a depth forward Friday morning:

Nick Lappin spent most of last year with the Binghamton Devils but did manage to see six games of NHL action where he scored one goal. Lappin was a strong performer for Binghamton where he scored 31 goals and added 22 assists in 65 games. The one-year deal is worth $700,000 at the NHL level and a guaranteed $250,000 at the AHL level. Lappin can compete for a spot on the lineup as the 13th forward right out of camp or act as one of the first players to be called up in the event of an injury.
