Special teams cost Devils in 5-3 loss to Flyers | Rapid reaction

Make it six losses in a row for the Devils.

A 5-3 loss to the Flyers on Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark coming out of the bye week dropped them to 0-3-3 in their last six games dating back to Dec. 29.

Special teams haunted the Devils all night, and it came back to bite them, with the Flyers scoring four unanswered goals over the final two periods.

The power play started 1-for-6, with the lone conversion coming on a Kyle Palmieri one timer to give the Devils a 2-1 lead at 1:46 of the second period.
