'Several' ESPN employees wanted Mount Holly's Britt McHenry fired for her tantrum, report says

If you're a New Jerseyan and you were upset at Britt McHenry's rip-job on the towing lot attendant because you thought her Mean Girls act only reinforced the obnoxious Jersey stereotype, look at it this way:

She has left New Jersey ... and she doesn't work alongside you.

TMZ is reporting that several (nameless) ESPN colleagues wanted McHenry, who is a Mount Holly, N.J. native, fired for her egotistical putdowns, which were caught on video and led to a one-week suspension by ESPN and a public apology from McHenry.

Not everyone at ESPN wants Britt McHenry back on the air -- with several employees (including on-air talent) telling us plain and simple -- "She should have been fired.
