Ottawa Senators forward Alexandre Burrows was suspended 10 games for serving as and aggressor and kneeing Devils forward Taylor Hall in the head during Tuesday's 5-3 Senators win at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa.
Following a big hit by Hall on Burrows, which the NHL deemed legal, Burrows went after Hall and cross checked him, trying to start a fight. The play ended and the two were separated, but Burrows then went after Hall and pulled him down from behind.
Burrows landed some punches on Hall before both were on the ice, and the Senators forward then kneed Hall in the head while laying on the ice.
