Rangers escape shootout after raucous OT in Devils showdown

It seems that everybody in the Metropolitan Division has been winning, which was not a fact lost on the Rangers or Devils as the two Hudson River rivals squared off on Sunday night at the Garden.

So maybe it was a little more buttoned-up, a little fewer shenanigans. And maybe it took 60 minutes of straightforward hockey before the teams started to open up for what amounted to a wildly entertaining five minutes of 3-on-3 overtime that somehow remained scoreless.
