Thursday's 5-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg gave the Devils one final preseason game against NHL competition to sort out some roster decisions before they head to Switzerland and Sweden.
The roster still stands at 28 players, and more cuts are expected before the team travels to Europe. While the team will still likely bring more than the maximum 23 players on the active roster, it could be the final significant cutdown before the start of the regular season.
