The 2018-19 NHL season is only five days old. That's still been plenty of time for some teams to put up a few impressive wins to start the season.
Talented squads such as the Toronto Maple Leafs, Tampa Bay Lightning, Nashville Predators and Anaheim Ducks all off to strong starts. After missing the playoffs last season, the Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars have all put a strong foot forward over the first week, Meanwhile, the Rangers, Arizona Coyotes, Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues have struggled early.
