The New Jersey Devils rebuild continues. After signing a couple of their pending restricted free agents, they’ll still have plenty of salary cap space to possibly add a veteran or two.
With the 2019-20 NHL schedule paused because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we'll be examining the free agents and trade candidates of all 31 teams for 2020-21. Due to the ongoing uncertainty over next season's salary-cap limits, we'll assume the cap remains at $81.5 million.
