It appears the Devils' first move in free agency will be signing defenseman Eric Gryba.
Deals can't be officially signed until noon on Sunday, but Bob McKenzie of TSN said the veteran defenseman is heading to New Jersey.
Look for Eric Gryba to end up with NJ.

The 30-year-old right handed blue liner has played 279 NHL games over the past six seasons, going for seven goals and 36 assists with the Ottawa Senators and Edmonton Oilers.
He was bought out by the Oilers in June, getting out of the final year of a two-year, $1.
