The New Jersey Devils were supposed to play the Calgary Flames last night at the Prudential Center. Instead, the Coronavirus outbreak caused the NHL to pause and everybody is stuck at home. The Devils instead played their game via EA Sports NHL 20. They played a real-life simulation and streamed it online for all fans to watch on multiple different platforms.
The game had a bit of twist and turns. For one, Cory Schneider made 98 saves on 102 shots in the big victory. The cool part about it is that Devils beat reporter Amanda Stein interviewed Schneider about his big victory via social media.
