NEWARK -- Taylor Hall, Nico Hischier and Cory Schneider will lead the New Jersey Devils into their 2017-18 regular-season and home opener when they host Matt Duchene, Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Prudential Center.
Hischier, the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, will make his NHL debut, while the Devils will have several other players, such as Marcus Johansson and Will Butcher, wearing the red and black for the first time.
