The New Jersey Devils ended an interesting day during the NHL Trade Deadline with a minor deal sending goalie Louis Domingue to the Vancouver Canucks for similar goalie Zane McIntyre.
The Devils got Domingue earlier this season for a conditional 7th-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft from the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was a deal to provide depth for the Devils as they watched Mackenzie Blackwood struggle to start the season and Cory Schneider once again forget that stopping the puck is the point.
The Devils met those conditions, so the pick is heading to Tampa.
