New Jersey Devils to Retire Martin Brodeur's No. 30, Build Statue for Prudential Center

On February 9th, 2016, the Devils will officially retire Martin Brodeur's No. 30. Brodeur joins Scott Stevens (#4), Ken Daneyko (#3), and Scott Niedermayer (#27) as the fourth player in franchise history to have his number retired. A statue of Brodeur will also be built outside the Prudential Center.

The New Jersey Devils have announced the retirement of franchise goaltender Martin Brodeur's No. 30, via live stream on their NHL.com site. Brodeur joins Scott Stevens (#4), Ken Daneyko (#3), and Scott Niedermayer (#27) as the fourth player in franchise history to have his number retired.
