NEWARK, N.J. -- The New Jersey Devils have signed Boston College defenseman Steven Santini to a three-year entry-level contract that will start this season.
The Devils said Friday that the 21-year-old Santini will report to New Jersey on Saturday for the morning skate.
New Jersey will finish its season against Toronto on Saturday night.
Santini finished his junior season at Boston College on Thursday night with the Eagles' 3-2 loss to Quinnipiac in the NCAA semifinals in Tampa, Florida. He had a goal and 18 assists in 41 games this season, and had five goals and 30 assists in 98 games in three seasons.
