The Devils fall to the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-1 tonight in what seemed to be a very winnable game. The Devils came out pretty strong in the first period out shooting Columbus 8-2, but they couldn’t find the back of the net. On the MSG broadcast, Ken Daneyko said it early that this felt like one of those games where the Devils had to put the Jackets away early, or this could be a game that got away from them. That is exactly what happened.
