As the calendar flips to mid-September, teams around the NHL are just a few short days away from beginning training camp.
That said, after an uneventful rookie camp up in Buffalo, it’s evident that the Devils are still in need of some help up front on offense. Fortunately for them, there are still a number of pretty good forwards who are yet to sign a contract for the upcoming season, including Jiri Tlusty.
According to Devils beat reporter Tom Gulitti, the New Jersey Devils are currently one of five teams with ongoing interest in the 27-year old left-winger:
