NEWARK, N.J. – The New Jersey Devils have released the schedule for the events between Saturday, February 6 and Tuesday, February 9 that will comprise the celebration of legendary goaltender Martin Brodeur's No. 30 jersey retirement.
The "Martin Brodeur Jersey Retirement presented by Prudential" will culminate with a special on-ice ceremony starting at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9 when the iconic No. 30 will be raised to the Prudential Center rafters. The Devils-Oilers game will follow the ceremony with a start time of 8:08 p.m., and doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
Hosted by "The Voice of Hockey," Mike "Doc" Emrick, the ceremony will feature Brodeur surrounded by his family, as a number of special guests pay tribute to his illustrious career in New Jersey.
