Last night the NHL kicked off it’s annual ‘Mascot Showdown’, and of course the NJ Devil himself was in action! The competition is set to last all weekend, but last night the Eastern Conference mascots faced off against the Western Conference mascots in a game of musical chairs and on-ice bowling.
Mr. New Jersey Devil and his fellow eastern conference companions jumped out to an early lead when they won musical chairs, but thanks to some heroics from Howler, the official mascot of the Arizona Coyotes, the Western Conference mascots were able to win bowling and knot things up at one a piece.
