The New Jersey Devils saw Nick Merkley have his debut and he collected his first NHL point. He had a good game despite the team losing. traded their superstar left wing Taylor Hall earlier this season t the Arizona Coyotes. A couple of prospects and draft picks came back to the Devils for Hall. One of those prospects was Merkley. He came into the Binghamton Devils room and was instantly one of the team’s most productive players. He earned himself a chance to come up and make his Devils debut.
It was his second NHL game after making his NHL debut with the Coyotes a while back.
