The offensive boost they received from acquiring Taylor Hall this summer was a good start, as an awful offense was the main reason for missing the playoffs last season. They also acquired low-key forwards in Beau Bennett, Vernon Fiddler, and Luke Gazdic, and may be able to get something offensively out of them.
