New Jersey Devils: Connor Carrick Avoids Arbitration

The New Jersey Devils have signed Connor Carrick to a two-year deal worth 1.5 million dollars per. That is a pretty good price for a depth defenseman like Carrick. He should be a solid guy on the back end for the Devils in a limited role in 2019-20.

He had a rough beginning of his career trying to stick to a rebuilding Toronto Maple Leafs team. Once they became an elite team Carrick was sent on his way. In 2019 he was traded to New Jersey in the Ben Lovejoy trade. It is turning out to be a pretty nice trade for the Devils as Carrick is sticking around after playing well for them down the stretch.
