We are less than a week from the start of the 2019-2020 NHL season. New Jersey Devils fans everywhere are preparing for the regular season debut of potential stars such as Nikita Gusev, Jesper Boqvist, and possibly even Ty Smith. But the man leading the pack of new Devils is one Jack Hughes.
Hughes is trying to be the first Devils’ player to win the Calder since Scott Gomez almost two decades ago. Martin Brodeur won the first ever Calder Trophy in franchise history, and now Hughes is looking to win the latest one.
