We’ve seen it time and time again, an old coach or general manager goes to a new team and looks to add his former players. Ray Shero and John Hynes did that when they left the Pittsburgh Penguins organization to join the New Jersey Devils. They added names like Beau Bennett, Ben Lovejoy, and others they knew how to manage and coach. That could happen again, only with Hynes getting some of his favorite Devils players and bring them to the Nashville Predators.
The Preds went home early after Hynes’s other former player Taylor Hall took over his series and ended his former coach’s season just four games after it restarted.
