Devils defenseman Mirco Mueller practiced on Friday for the first time since suffering a broken clavicle in a Nov. 12 game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Mueller skated with the rest of the 23 healthy Devils in their first practice out of the bye week at the Prudential Center in Newark.
Mueller had surgery following the injury and was slated for a 10-12 week recovery, putting him on pace for a mid-to-late February return.
Even with his participation in practice, Mueller will likely need several to get close to game speed for a potential return.
