The top line continued to sizzle.
The Devils' top trio of Taylor Hall, Nico Hischier and Kyle Palmieri all found the scoresheet, with one goal and one assist from Palmieri leading the way in a 3-2 win over the Florida Panthers on Saturday at Prudential Center in Newark.
Palmieri assisted Hall's second-period goal after he opened the scoring in the first, and Hischier picked up assists on both of his line mates' tallies.
Keith Kinkaid's bid for his third shutout fell short with 4:57 to play in the third period, when Panthers defenseman Mike Matheson pulled Florida within 3-1, and a Mike Hoffman 6-on-5 goal made it 3-2 with 14 seconds to play.
