BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Jesper Bratt and Marcus Johansson had the Devils looking like an offensive juggernaut.
Bratt and Johansson each scored a pair of goals and one assist to power another offensive eruption for the Devils, when they struck for six goals in a 6-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Monday at the KeyBank Center.
The Devils (2-0-0) did that all without forwards Kyle Palmieri and Drew Stafford, who missed the game with lower body injuries. Both are considered day-to-day and could play on Wednesday.
Bratt, the 19-year-old rookie, is out to prove he deserves to stay in the NHL all season, and he proved his case again.
